Gwendolyn Graine has received considerable recognition for her unique style with assembled paper. Presently she is working with painted papers which she folds, cuts and then assembles into a dimensional composition. In other pieces she combines painted overlays with hand painted Japanese papers, sometimes combined with sheets of painted plexiglass.  Currently, Ms. Graine works from her studio in Alexandria, Virginia.
